I would say these cabins sleep 4 adults or a family of 6 comfortably. From this resort you can rent kayaks and paddleboards. I spent every morning paddleboarding, it was peaceful and calm and a sight to see. You can rent a boat for the day which is priced reasonably and spend the evening sitting by the campfire roasting marshmallows. Is there anything else you would rather do! I spent the week of July 4th with my family and enjoyed every moment. While the cabins come with wi-fi none of us even thought to connect. We walked, biked, hiked and sept the days on the beach playing Kan-jam and beating each out in evening with non-stop corn hole and camp fires!
Raystown Lake, PA has 118 miles of shoreline which is almost completely state land, filled with beautiful nature. I saw two…let me say TWO bald eagles in one day while relaxing on the water. It is peaceful and filled with more stars than I have ever seen. It is located about 2 hours each way between Pittsburg and Harrisburg and about 3.5 hours from Philadelphia which makes for a perfect weekend away !
