It’s my friend’s birthday, yay! I love all things birthday, let’s have a party, go to dinner, make it a whole week-long extravaganza. We are doing an evening peddle pub, then bar hoping around downtown.
I cannot think of a better way to spend a Friday night enjoying the fall weather. I am so hard pulled to give up my Saturdays when it is football season. I decided to make some pudding shots, which basically taste like adult ice cream. She is turning 30 so it’s acceptable to start a birthday party with dessert AKA pudding shots, right?
Pudding shots area great because they are light and fluffy and they blend so well. They don’t taste overly sweet which is a mix up from regular Jell-O shots which I often find over powering. You can change the flavoring and buy sugar free. I decided on Chocolate but my second choice is Banana Cream! I use the Jell-O brand because I find they mix the best and the flavor is true.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup rumchata or Baileys (any Irish cream will work)
1/2 cup vodka (can be flavored)
1 (3.4 oz) package pudding (Pumpkin Spice/Vanilla/Banana Cream/Chocolate)
1 (8 oz) container cool whip thawed
2 oz Condiment Containers
Instructions:
1. Whisk milk, Irish cream, vodka and pudding powder together in large mixing bowl until all clumps have dissolved.
2. Add thawed cool whip and mix with a fork until all clumps have dissolved, it should be a thinker mixture.
3. Pour mixture into Condiment Containers
4. Place lids on cups and set them flat on a cookie sheet, freeze until ready to eat!
